Making a Will allows you to state in black and white how your personal possessions, money, investments and property are shared and distributed when you pass away.  It also and allows you to state any specific arrangements for your funeral whether of a personal or religious manner.
The absence of a valid Will in Scotland may result in your Estate paying more tax than is necessary. Whilst we are not permitted to provide tax advice, any instruction on the preparation of a Will allows your financial affairs to be discussed openly and confidentially and where necessary, separate financial advice may be recommended to ensure the your Estate is distributed in the most tax efficient way possible.
